Abstract

In the work, spectral and luminescent manifestations of plasmon-exciton interaction of gold nanorods with length of 35 nm and diameter of 9 nm, passivated with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide molecules (CTAB), with molecules of the medical filler indocyanine green (ICG), were established. The quenching of the dye luminescence near the nanorods and enhancement during the spatial separation of the components of hybrid nanosystems, achieved by the formation of a spherical SiO2 shell with thick of 20-30 nm on gold nanorods are found. The enhancement of luminescence during the growth of the dielectric shell is provided by blocking the steric transformation of the ICG polymethine chain when the dye interacts with the silica shell and Purcell effect.
